Is it really necessary to harm animals to learn veterinary surgical and clinical skills, as still continues in some veterinary schools? Absolutely not! In our new article, Prof. Grevemeyer and I describe the creation of a state of the art clinical skills laboratory at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Caribbean, that teaches surgical and clinical skills without any harmful animal use.
